  Police in Derry have been attacked with petrol bombs on Thursday evening as trouble in the area continued.  SDLP leader Colum Eastwood said that a police landrover had been set on fire at Fahan Street near the city walls.  Motorists have also been asked to avoid the Lecky Road and flyover area of the Bogside due to an ongoing distrubance. Viable devices thrown at police in Derry being treated as attempted murder  Residents on Fountain estate say empty Stormont setting bad example Video: Night of chaos: Fire crews attacked, vehicles hijacked and burnt, roads blocked and airport disrupted on night of mayhem  PSNI Air Support said they had observed young children involved in the disorder.  SDLP Foyle MLA Mark H Durkan said he had been told of attempts to hijack vehicles in the area and Sinn Fein Foyle MLA Karen Muillan has asked that all vans and lorries stay out of the area for their own safety.  It comes after days of disorder in the area, two viable devices were thrown at police on Derry's walls in the early hours of Thursday morning.  Overnight, 16 petrol bombs were thrown at police in the vicinity of the city walls, while debris was set alight in the Lecky flyover.  The PSNI are treating the incident as attempted murder.  Six shots were fired at officers close to the city’s walls on Tuesday night.  The Protestant Fountain estate in Derry has also been targeted as part of the attacks over the last week.  Police attended The Diamond area earlier as the annual Twelfth of July parade passed.  "We regret to say that we are experiencing further disorder in the area of the Bogside with a number of petrol bombs already thrown at police," a PSNI spokesperson said.  "There is a large crowd gathering.
